The Small Postcard Teas Party

Curated by Sumie, 11 artists were invited to participate and exhibit their small tea/ ceramics related pieces for the exhibition at one of the finest tea shop “Postcard Teas“ in London.

The piece I have exhibited here is three little spirits called Nyoro Nyoro.

Nyoro Nyoro are a quiet tribe of spirit-like creatures, barely seen but always near. They dwell in the overlooked corners of the world—between floorboards and city cracks, beneath trees, or curled behind a patch of wet moss after rain. Existing in a parallel realm just adjacent to ours, they observe without judgment, always present yet never intrusive.

They are weightless and whimsical, moving with the gentlest flicker of curiosity. A passing breeze or single raindrop can send them fluttering into hiding. Harmless and tender-hearted, they carry with them the fleeting moods of nature—ephemeral, strange, and full of wonder.

Between our glimpses, human can always skim traces of their presence—artifacts from a hidden ecology, glimpses into a world that hums softly beneath our own.

Nyoro Nyoro
