In My Dream I am Infinite
在我的梦中，我无边无际
After dedicating myself to ceramics full-time in London for about ten months, I had the opportunity to showcase my work at the annual “Ceramics in the City” exhibition at the Museum of the Home.
For this show, I wanted to create more than just a display—I envisioned a habitat where my ceramic sculptures and 2D artworks, including oil paintings and drawings, could coexist. When I closed my eyes, I saw my ceramics coming alive in a forest, thriving in a world of their own. To bring this vision to life, I used fresh moss and exotic flowers to create a little forest within the museum. It felt like transporting the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland into an indoor space, where imagination and reality intertwined.
在2023年到2024年间，CUCKOO的创造者张心怡一直在伦敦专注于陶艺创作，希望将CUCKOO们从二维的世界中带到三维的现实空间中，在将近十个月的埋头创作之后后，CUCKOO有幸受邀参加伦敦“家居博物馆”（Museum of the Home）的年度“城市陶艺展”展览（Ceramics in the City）
在这次展览中，我们希望它能成为一个充满生命力的空间，一个陶土与绘画相互对话的世界。我设想我的陶瓷雕塑和油画、水墨作品能够共同栖息在一个自然的环境中。当我闭上眼睛时，我仿佛看见它们在一片森林里生长，呼吸，栩栩如生。为了实现这个愿景，我们用新鲜的苔藓和异域的花朵，搭建了一片小小的森林。整个空间仿佛把《爱丽丝梦游仙境》的奇幻世界带进了现实，在这片空间里，想象与真实交织，艺术与自然融为一体。能为观众创造这样的体验，对我们来说是一件无比珍贵的事情，也受到了观众热情以及带有好奇心的探索与回馈。
