“Fashion fades, style is eternal.”

--- Yves Saint Laurent

We have entered into an era of rapid speed. Fast information, fast production, fast usage, fast tossing...

Dressing up is a means for us to express ourselves, to show the world who we are. But style does not equal trend or fashion.

Globally, it is estimated that 92 million tonnes of textile waste end up in landfill each year. By 2030, we are expected as a whole to be discarding more than 134 million tonnes of textiles a year. More than 60 percent of fabric fibers are now synthetics, derived from fossil fuels, which means that when our clothing ends up in a landfill, it will not decay.

We love fashion, but we also love our MOTHER EARTH dearly.
And we believe fashion and sustainability can go hand in hand.

We are super happy to collaborate with POPSIZ, a young, energetic brand based in Seoul, Korea,  who believes “sustainability is the new sexy.”

“I wanna show people that sustainable fashion doesn’t need to be monochromatic or dull, it can also be fun, colorful, and sexy.”

--- Popsiz

The mutual care of environmental issues, approach to a sustainable lifestyle, and pursuit of funness manifested in our first collaboration: seven upcycled Ralph Lauren Polo shirts.

“In Asia, wearing second-hand clothing is still quite a taboo act, there is a common opinion that second-hand clothing is unclean, and wearing them is equal to a sign of poverty.”

“We want to show people an alternative way of looking at second-hand clothing.”

Each of the upcycled shirts is unique and one of a kind.

The shirts were carefully selected from second-hand stores, since they are vintage, so the chances of finding them were purely based on luck, but in the end, we managed to find seven shirts that are in good condition.

Then we carefully washed, cleaned, and ironed the shirts, and sewed the patches on them.

We chose the heart pattern because we believe love is the answer to everything.

“These clothings just need a little bit of love, then they will shine again, and create beautiful memories with the next human being they encounter.”

The heart patches were produced using vegan ink and organic fabrics.

All seven shirts were collected & upcycled by POPSIZ in Seoul, Korea.
